Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Davion Mccall (ranked 3671 p4p, 25473 weight class) and Wayne Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne Walker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davion Mccall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wayne Walker! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mccall looks for a takedown but Walker sprawls well. Mccall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walker. Mccall looks to score with a jab to the body but Walker is just out of range. Mccall pushes Walker up against the cage in a clinch. Walker blocks a body shot from Mccall. Mccall can't break the clinch.
Walker has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mccall after a bit of a struggle. Walker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mccall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker has Mccall pressed against the cage, preventing Mccall from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Mccall tries to break the clinch but Walker is controlling the position. Walker manages to break the clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Mccall. Walker wants to control but Mccall postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Mccall is staying active. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mccall has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Walker throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mccall tries a head kick but it misses.
Walker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Mccall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Walker on his heels. He'll look to pass Walker's guard now, I'm sure. Walker wants to get back to his feet but Mccall is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Mccall stopping the sweep attempt from Walker. Mccall tries to free his leg and advance position but Walker is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mccall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mccall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Walker trying to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Mccall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Walker manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Mccall persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing. Mccall slaps away a takedown attempt from Walker, before circling back to the center of the mat. Davion Mccall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayne Walker. Mccall dives in and grabs Walker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes down on Mccall's head and hops out. Walker appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Walker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Walker fails to land with a series of punches.
Mccall tries to clinch but Walker is having none of it. Mccall decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Walker looks winded! Walker wants to control but Mccall is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mccall controlling the pace. Mccall is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Mccall gets to his feet - Walker follows without any prompting. Walker cracks Mccall with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Mccall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walker. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mccall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walker. As Walker looks to move away, Mccall throws a big counter combo but Walker just gets out of the way. Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Davion Mccall will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Mccall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mccall looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Mccall is looking to sweep but instead, Walker has passed into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker is trying to control the action in half guard but Mccall is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mccall is concentrating on defense, preventing Walker from advancing position. Mccall trying to control here.
Walker is pressing down on Mccall's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mccall is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mccall wants to get back to his feet.
Mccall is trying to get back to full guard. Mccall is working hard here to advance position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mccall tries to clinch but fails miserably and Walker counters with a one-two to the body. Mccall will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mccall swats away the attempt to clinch by Walker. Mccall changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Walker gets caught flat footed, as Mccall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Walker pushes Mccall off and scrambles back to his feet.
Mccall shoots for a takedown but Walker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walker fails with the takedown. Mccall fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mccall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Walker to the mat! Walker manages to get full guard. Mccall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mccall is stalling in the full guard. Mccall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccall clinches up against the cage. Mccall pulls guard effortlessly. Mccall has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Walker off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Davion Mccall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mccall swats away the attempt to clinch by Walker. Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Walker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mccall swivels and escapes. Walker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mccall's waist but Mccall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walker off to one side. Davion Mccall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayne Walker. Mccall looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Mccall postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mccall is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mccall lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mccall works a leg free and moves into half guard. Davion Mccall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mccall is controlling the pace.
