Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Xi Daerji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Younger Blood!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daerji looks to land a combination but Blood avoids it well.
Blood changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Daerji looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Daerji prevents Blood from moving into mount.
Blood wants to control but Daerji is keeping him busy.
Daerji struggling a bit here.
Daerji is trying to get back to half guard.
Blood controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daerji stops Blood from passing to mount.
Blood decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Blood throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daerji's waist but Daerji gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blood off to one side.
Daerji defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blood.
Blood instigates a clinch.
Blood utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Daerji is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Blood to keep the fight standing.
Blood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Daerji clinches up with Blood and pushes him back against the cage.
Blood breaks from the clinch.
Blood darts in and clinches Daerji up against the cage.
Blood's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Blood scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blood pulls guard effortlessly.
Daerji wants to control from the top but Blood keeps moving.
Blood is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Daerji stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blood swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blood is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Blood has a closed guard, preventing Daerji from standing up.
Daerji is fighting to break Blood's control of his arms but Blood is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Blood has managed to clinch.
Blood keeps control of Daerji as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Blood has Daerji pressed against the cage, preventing Daerji from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Blood pulls Daerji into guard.
Blood is pulling down on Daerji's head to control his posture.
Daerji won't allow Blood to sweep him here.

Daerji throws a big elbow that misses.
Daerji looking to sit in guard and control but Blood gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Blood has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Daerji is proving hard to escape from.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Younger Blood dominated that round.
That's time! Daerji's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Daerji keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Blood fails with the takedown.
Daerji misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Blood slips a jab and a cross from Daerji.
Blood feints the counter takedown.
Blood shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daerji defends it nicely.
Xi Daerji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Younger Blood.

Daerji gets tackled into the cage by Blood. Blood maintains the clinch.

Blood jumps into guard, dragging Daerji to the mat.

Blood looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Daerji got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blood has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Daerji has managed to get both his arms back between Blood's legs - danger averted.
Daerji wants to control from the top but Blood keeps moving.
Blood wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Daerji is now in half guard.

Blood preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Blood wants to get back to full guard.
Blood is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Daerji's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Daerji's back!
Daerji is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Blood has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Daerji has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Blood has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Blood has good solid back control here.

Younger Blood has got the better of the ground game so far.
Blood keeps control of the position easily here as Daerji tries to buck him off.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Daerji tries to escape the position.
Daerji is trying to get back to his feet but Blood has full control of the position and if anything, Daerji has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Daerji tries to break free.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Blood sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Daerji taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Younger Blood!
