Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bucky Beasley (ranked 3311 p4p, 2828 weight class) and Junfeng Li (ranked 327 p4p, 292 weight class). Beasley comes to the cage accompanied by Walk. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Beasley as Li shoots in.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Li can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Beasley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Li has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Beasley has managed to get both his arms back between Li's legs - danger averted.
Li is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Li connects with a nice short shot to Beasley's temple.
