Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamarion Solis (ranked 3786 p4p, 3817 weight class) and Zayn Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 318 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris fails with a takedown attempt.
Harris closes the distance and clinches.
Solis throws an elbow but it misses.
Harris manages to break the clinch.
Solis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Solis wants it to stay on the feet.
Harris throws a nice looking combination but Solis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Solis looks to land a right hand but Harris moved out of range.
Solis misses with a series of wild punches.

Well, if Harris is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Harris passes the guard and advances to mount!
Solis tries to reverse the position but Harris maintains control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Solis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground.
Harris lands a couple of good shots and Solis has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Solis is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Harris gets his way!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Harris connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Solis to escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Harris is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Harris is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Harris shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Harris was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Harris looking to break Solis's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Solis remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Harris will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Solis is covering up but some of the strikes from Harris are getting through and doing damage.
Harris is working for a rear naked choke. Solis is not defending it well and Harris has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Solis refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Solis's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
