Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrew Havener!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Big Bob!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob misses with a takedown
and Havener counters with a nice right hand that sends Bob toppling to the canvas! Bob scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Havener finish him?!
It looks like Big Bob has been cut.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bob has eaten all the pies!
Bob forces Havener back against the cage and clinches.
Bob is trying to break the clinch but Havener is controlling him.
Bob is trying to pull guard but Havener turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Bob throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bob breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Havener drops Bob with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bob looks back up at him and smiles so Havener waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bob is rocked!
That has opened up Big Bob's cut even more.
Havener seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bob thows a leg kick but Havener checks it
and Havener counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Bob out cold! What a finish! Havener is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrew Havener!
