Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ola Badmus (ranked 1153 p4p, 1672 weight class) and Master Leader (ranked 145 p4p, 208 weight class). Leader is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Champions - Kanye West (ft Travis Scott, Quavo, etc…). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ola Badmus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Master Leader!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leader misses with a few strikes there.
Badmus lands a two punch combo.
Badmus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fighters circling - Badmus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Master Leader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Badmus takes the fight into the clinch.
I was talking to Badmus's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Leader misses with an elbow strike.
Badmus is looking to control Leader's arms but Leader gets an underhook and turns him. Now Badmus has his back to the cage.
Leader scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Leader fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Leader tries to throw a body punch but Badmus avoids it by throwing Leader back against the cage.
Badmus stalling against the cage.
Badmus is trying to break the clinch but Leader is controlling him.
Leader can't find room to land a body shot as Badmus controls the action.
Badmus stalling in the clinch but Leader improves position.

Leader escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leader scores with a nice head shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Leader lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Badmus or not.
Leader misses with a punch to the body.
Leader scores with a shot to the side of Badmus's head.
Badmus leaning against his opponent.
Leader lands a nice uppercut.
Leader lands a right hand.

Leader breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leader scores with a leg kick.
Badmus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Leader.
Leader misses with a few strikes there.
Badmus on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Leader. Leader obviously looking to wear him down.

and Badmus counters with a stiff right hand.
A slow jab from Leader misses its intended target.
Leader lunges at Badmus with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Badmus's hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Leader drives through and clinches with Badmus against the cage.

Leader throws a head kick but Badmus moves out of range.
Leader lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice defenses there by Badmus.
Badmus walks into a straight right hand from Leader.
Leader swings widly with a right hand
and Badmus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A telegraphed right hand from Leader misses the target.

Leader escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leader scores with a nice head shot.
Badmus takes a swing at Leader's ribcage but misses.

Leader throws a leg kick but Badmus sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Badmus pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Leader back to the cage. Badmus follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Leader lands a nice shot that snaps Badmus's head back.

Leader misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Leader misses with a hook.
As Leader looks to move away, Badmus throws a big counter combo but Leader just gets out of the way.
Leader scoring well with a low kick there.
Leader jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Leader thows a left - swing and a miss!
Badmus shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Badmus has Leader up against the cage in a clinch.
Leader tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Badmus's elbow.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Leader as Badmus tries to tie him up.
Leader throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Leader throws a head punch that misses.
Badmus blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Leader pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Leader tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Leader throws a punch but it's blocked by Badmus.

Badmus can't find room to land a body shot as Leader controls the action.
Badmus slowing the pace effectively.
Badmus's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Badmus gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Badmus breaks from the clinch.
Leader swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Leader throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Badmus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Leader is looking to slow Badmus down with leg kicks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Badmus on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Badmus lands a left and a right that send Leader crashing to the mat, dazed. Badmus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Badmus looks to land a left hand but Leader moved out of range nicely.

Badmus moves into the clinch.
Leader misses with some punches.
Badmus is stalling here.
Badmus takes a shot to the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Master Leader dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Leader throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Badmus counters with a straight right hand.

Leader is rocked!
Badmus blocks a jab.
Leader is still on wobbly legs! Can Badmus finish him?

Badmus has taken the fight to the clinch.
Master Leader seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Leader tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A nice left hand lands by Leader.
Badmus pressing his opponent against the cage.
The referee calls for Badmus to work.
Leader seems to have recovered his senses.
A right hand to the body from Leader.
Leader digs a right hand into Badmus's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Badmus's gas tank.

Leader presses Badmus against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Leader misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Leader struggles to land a body shot inside as Badmus controls his hands.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Badmus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A nice leg kick from Leader, right into the meat of the thigh.
Leader lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Leader keeps Badmus at a distance using the push kick.
Badmus has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Leader finds it's way round the side to connect with Badmus's head.
Leader throws a hook but Badmus avoids it easily.
Badmus misses with a two punch combination.
Badmus slips a straight right by Leader.
Leader lands with a cross.
Badmus with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Leader throws a right and a left that both miss.
A nice leg kick lands there from Leader.
Leader throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Badmus counters with a three punch combo that has Leader backing up. Leader nods at Badmus to acknowledge the strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Badmus drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Badmus takes the fight into the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Badmus.

Badmus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice inside leg kick there by Leader. That's going to slow Badmus down.

Leader throws a nice inside leg kick.
Ola Badmus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Badmus lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Badmus throws a lazy right hand but Leader sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A cross from Leader lands.
A slapping leg kick lands for Leader.
Leader connects with a leg kick.
Badmus staying out of range there.
Badmus with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Leader to score with a decent uppercut.

Badmus is rocked!
Badmus loses concentration momentarily and Leader pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Badmus crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Leader finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Master Leader!
During a confident post fight interview, Master Leader thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
