Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Volodymyr Kersikov (ranked 206 p4p, 1593 weight class) and Little Bandit (ranked 15 p4p, 118 weight class). Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by DEF LEPPARD - Pour Some Sugar On Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov throws out a loose jab but Bandit uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kersikov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bandit.
Kersikov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bandit just misses with a punch to the body.
Kersikov keeps the fight on the outside.

The fighters circling - Kersikov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Little Bandit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kersikov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kersikov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bandit with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kersikov is looking for a kimura but Bandit is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kersikov to get the leverage.
Kersikov winds up and cracks Bandit with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Bandit is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kersikov pulls his head out easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kersikov connects with a nice short shot to Bandit's temple.
