Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Action (ranked 1438 p4p, 1920 weight class) and Glass Joe Jr (ranked 109 p4p, 160 weight class). Joe Jr has chosen Punch Out Theme as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Glass Joe Jr!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Joe Jr ducks right into an uppercut from Action.
Joe Jr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Action.
Action fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Joe Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Action throws an off balance right hand
and Joe Jr counters with a nice body shot.
Joe Jr misses with the combination.
Action lands a jab to the head.
Joe Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Action manages to avoid it.
Joe Jr avoids the head kick by Action.
Joe Jr looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joe Jr checks the leg kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Joe Jr! But no joy.
That kick from Action tenderised Joe Jr's leg. Joe Jr is trying to keep his angry face on.
Action throws a low kick but it's checked well by Joe Jr.
Joe Jr throws out a loose jab but Action uses good head movement to avoid it.
Joe Jr throws a shot from downtown. Action moves away and avoids it.

Action misses with a wild combination.
Joe Jr throws a lazy right hand but Action sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Joe Jr misses with a hook.
A left and a right from Action both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Glass Joe Jr has been cut.
Joe Jr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Joe Jr looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Joe Jr uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Action has time to react.
Action throws a nice inside leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Action.
Joe Jr misses with a wild combination.
Joe Jr's coach down at The Purpose Martial Arts Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Joe Jr's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Action misses with a leg kick
and Joe Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Joe Jr scores with a crisp jab that stopped Action in his tracks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Action thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Joe Jr if he has to take too many more of those.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Action lands with an uppercut that bounces Joe Jr off the cage and back into range.
Action clobbers Joe Jr with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Joe Jr is rocked!
Joe Jr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Action.
Joe Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Action finish him?
Crack! Action connects with the perfect overhand right and Joe Jr falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Action!

Dominic Action gave a mention to Black Lab Clothing in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
