The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewson takes a swing at Gooman's ribcage but misses.

Lewis Lewson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gooman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lewson's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gooman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lewson defend it? Gooman steps over the head and cranks it - Lewson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gooman!
