Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Younger Blood (ranked 3222 p4p, 5119 weight class) and Xi Daerji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xi Daerji is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Younger Blood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Xi Daerji! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daerji shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blood defends it nicely. Blood goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Blood lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Daerji circles away quickly and effectively. Blood looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Blood stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blood wants it to stay on the feet. As Daerji backs away, Blood returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Daerji shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blood as he jumps to the side. Younger Blood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xi Daerji. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blood connects with a leg kick. Blood shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daerji pinned against the cage. Daerji gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Daerji unleashes a big counter combination but Blood bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blood throws a head kick but Daerji moves out of range.
Daerji is looking to clinch but Blood is avoiding it.
Blood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blood looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daerji is fending him off so far but Blood persists. Nope, Daerji circles away and we're back to standing. Daerji is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Blood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Daerji avoids it really well and circles away. Blood moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blood takes a swing at Daerji's ribcage but misses. Daerji shoots in looking for a takedown but Blood manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daerji's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Blood moves into the clinch. Blood breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Daerji fails with a takedown attempt. Blood fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Daerji, pushing him back against the cage. Blood gets control of Daerji's arms and successfully pulls guard. Blood will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Daerji wants to control from the top but Blood keeps moving. The fighters are working up against the cage. Blood manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blood wants to take the fight to the mat but Daerji manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blood pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Daerji misses with a head kick.

Daerji trying to control the position from guard on top but Blood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blood looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daerji stopping the sweep attempt from Blood. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daerji wants to stand and escape but instead Blood has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Blood sitting in guard, not really doing much. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Younger Blood dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Daerji wants to clinch. A punch combination from Daerji misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blood is defended easily by Daerji. Blood drives through and clinches with Daerji against the cage.
Blood is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Daerji can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blood pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Blood closes this distance looking for a takedown but Daerji circles away. Daerji closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Blood tries to pull guard but Daerji forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Younger Blood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blood has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Daerji uses from the top position. Daerji must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Daerji throws a big elbow that misses. Blood working a defensive guard here.
Daerji in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Blood keeping moving, preventing Daerji from controlling successfully. Blood is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Daerji defends well. Daerji won't allow Blood to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blood looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Blood working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Daerji.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Blood keeps the fight on the outside. Daerji doesn't succeed with the takedown and Blood counters with a stiff right hand. Excellent takedown into side control there by Blood. Blood remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daerji is looking to regain half guard here but Blood keeps moving and retains side control. Daerji seems a little lost for a moment, as Blood dominates the positioning. Blood working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Blood remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Blood wants to control but Daerji is keeping him busy. Daerji is pushing Blood's head away, looking to escape. Blood manages to hold on to the position though. Blood wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daerji keeps working. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Blood working the ground and pound but Daerji is defending the strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Daerji is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Blood staying calm.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Younger Blood dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Blood dives in and grabs Daerji's left leg, looking for a takedown. Daerji pushes down on Blood's head and hops out. Daerji keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Daerji fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blood moves into range and clinches up with Daerji. Blood wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Younger Blood. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blood tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Daerji avoids it. Blood drags the fight down to the ground.
Daerji trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blood is looking to stand up but Daerji isn't so interested in that idea. Blood is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Daerji is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blood isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Daerji stacks Blood on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Daerji! Blood controls the position for a moment. Sloppy strikes there by Daerji. Daerji stands up and beckons Blood to his feet. Daerji wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Blood throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daerji's waist but Daerji gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blood off to one side. Nice takedown defense from Blood. No joy for Daerji on that attempt. Younger Blood is winning the standup battle so far. Blood tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Daerji defends well and Blood ends up having to push Daerji into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Blood manages to break the clinch.

Daerji is looking to break free of the clinch but Blood has double underhooks. Daerji is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Blood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Daerji tries to clinch but Blood is having none of it. Daerji tries to clinch up. A quick step to the side and Blood tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daerji fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Daerji shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Blood counters by clinching up. Daerji takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Blood jumps into guard, dragging Daerji to the mat.
Blood manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daerji manages to get himself to full guard.
Blood with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Blood stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daerji swivels though and keeps the full guard. Blood stands up from Daerji's guard - Blood perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blood drives through and clinches with Daerji against the cage.

Blood pushes Daerji away with a front kick. Daerji shoots for a takedown but Blood saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Blood stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blood wants it to stay on the feet. Blood looking to score a takedown here. Daerji is defending well but Blood drives through and ends up in Daerji's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blood scoring with some ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Blood slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Xi Daerji has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Younger Blood is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Blood's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
And that's the end of the fight! Younger Blood showed his dominance in that final round. Well Blood has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
