Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shervin Zhoulide!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Zime!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zime fails with the takedown.
Zime rushes Zhoulide and presses him up against the cage.
Zime tries to pull guard but Zhoulide holds him up against the cage and eventually Zime drops back down to his feet.
Zime is trying to pull guard but Zhoulide turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Shervin Zhoulide has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Zime.
Zhoulide trying to land knees to the body.
Zime wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Zime has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Zhoulide could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zhoulide manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Zhoulide has his foot on Zime's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zime works his way back into a safe position though.
Zhoulide working for a triangle but Zime defends it easily.
Zhoulide throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zime has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zhoulide to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zime is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zhoulide pulls down on the head and he's put Zime to sleep! This one is all over!
