Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeramiah Brewer (ranked 4231 p4p, 3566 weight class) and Frederico Mora (ranked 0 p4p, 291 weight class). Brewer comes to the cage accompanied by Take me home, Country road. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Frederico Mora was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeramiah Brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Frederico Mora!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mora swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brewer shoots for a double leg takedown but Mora sprawls well. He's pushed Brewer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brewer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mora.
Brewer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mora throws a counter combo.
Brewer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Brewer fails with a takedown attempt.
Mora lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Brewer tries for a takedown but Mora sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeramiah Brewer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mora stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mora wants it to stay on the feet.
Mora scores with a one two! Brewer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Brewer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mora paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mora keeps the fight on the outside.
Brewer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Brewer tries to clinch up but Mora circles away and keeps his distance.
Brewer pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mora back to the cage. Brewer follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Brewer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mora cracks a nice hook into Brewer's ribs.
Brewer closes the distance and clinches up with Mora, looking for a takedown. Brewer pushes Mora against the cage but Mora circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brewer is breathing heavily.
Brewer tries to clinch but Mora moves out of range.

Mora stuffs the takedown.
Mora swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mora lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brewer at a distance.
Brewer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brewer is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mora.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mora throws a series of punches but Brewer avoids them all with ease.
Brewer drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mora sprawls and moves away.
Mora misses with the combination.
Brewer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mora darts in and clinches Brewer up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mora decides to pull guard.
Mora has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Brewer doesn't defend quickly enough and Mora has managed to lock this one up! Can Brewer escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Mora on a fantastic submission victory.
