Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Gaspar (ranked 1118 p4p, 1152 weight class) and Projekti Yksi (ranked 139 p4p, 146 weight class). Gaspar comes to the cage accompanied by Narco. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Gaspar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Projekti Yksi!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaspar moves into the clinch.
Yksi blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Yksi throws a punch but it's blocked by Gaspar.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Yksi.
Gaspar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Gaspar wants to clinch up but Yksi keeps it at a distance.
Yksi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gaspar defends it well.
A big left from Gaspar misses.
Gaspar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yksi scores with a nice head shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gaspar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yksi. That did some damage!

and Yksi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Gaspar lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Yksi shoots for a takedown but Gaspar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Yksi shoots in for a double leg but Gaspar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

enabling Yksi to counter with a crisp jab.
Gaspar darts in and clinches Yksi up against the cage.
Gaspar is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gaspar fires out a quick counter leg kick but Yksi just manages to avoid it.
Gaspar slaps away a takedown attempt from Yksi, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Yksi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Yksi misses with a hook. Gaspar ducked under it nicely.

Yksi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Yksi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gaspar to score with a decent uppercut.
Yksi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gaspar but Gaspar pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pablo Gaspar will probably get the nod.

Yksi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Yksi wants to reverse the position here. Gaspar has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Yksi is forced to tap! Yksi looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
