Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mikael Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Prescott!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Prescott to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Prescott preventing the sweep.
Li lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Li drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Li jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Prescott keeping moving, preventing Li from controlling successfully.
Li drops back, looking for a kneebar! Prescott looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Prescott looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Prescott!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prescott takes a little break here. Li wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Prescott looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Prescott is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Li looks calm but he's in trouble here. Prescott gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Li is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Prescott lets go of the hold and Li can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Samuel Prescott!
A very excited looking Samuel Prescott rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
