Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Bond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Phishiji Baba!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Baba connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Baba misses with a hook to the body
and Bond counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bond pushing down on Baba's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Baba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bond. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bond wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baba keeps working.
Bond seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bond is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Baba avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bond.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bond is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Baba defends it well.

Bond frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bond has hold of Baba's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Baba manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bond is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bond extends the arm and Baba is forced to tap!
