Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Balls (ranked 2814 p4p, 3269 weight class) and Bill Nye (ranked 318 p4p, 362 weight class). Bill Nye told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balls misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Balls swats away the attempt to clinch by Nye.
Nye lands with a cross.
Nye misses with a few strikes there.
Nye misses with a double jab
so Balls counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nye wriggles free and stands up.
Balls slips a jab and a cross from Nye.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Balls tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nye defends well and Balls ends up having to push Nye into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nye manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Balls jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nye walks away with a smile on his face. Balls gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Nye smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nye dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Bill Nye comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nye has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
