Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mukhtar Mihailovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Blase Beneteau!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beneteau lands with a thumping leg kick.
Beneteau throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mihailovic.
Mihailovic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Beneteau counters with a left and a right that stings Mihailovic.
Beneteau will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mihailovic shoots in and drives through. Beneteau sprawls well.
Mihailovic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Beneteau's waist but Beneteau gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mihailovic off to one side.

Mihailovic has hold of Beneteau's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Beneteau seems comfortable defending it but Mihailovic has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Beneteau is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Beneteau is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mihailovic couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A determined Mukhtar Mihailovic didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
