Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ante Novak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Butch Cassidy!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novak lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Novak throws a body kick that misses.
Cassidy shoots in for a takedown but Novak shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cassidy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Donk. Novak catches Cassidy right on the button with a cross.
Cassidy moves out of range of the body kick.
Cassidy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Novak.
Novak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cassidy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Novak defends well and Cassidy ends up having to push Novak into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Cassidy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cassidy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Novak tries to avoid it but Cassidy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Novak to the ground. Novak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Novak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cassidy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Butch Cassidy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cassidy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Novak.

Cassidy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Novak avoids it really well and circles away.
Cassidy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Novak is able to avoid easily.

Cassidy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Novak should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cassidy has tightened it up now! Novak should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
