Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Caceres (ranked 3163 p4p, 2982 weight class) and Preston Foster (ranked 367 p4p, 342 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rodrigo Caceres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Preston Foster!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster has taken the fight to the clinch.
Caceres can't get the takedown.

Foster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice sprawl there from Foster as Caceres shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Caceres. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Foster forces Caceres back against the cage and clinches.
Foster connects with a knee to the head.

Caceres drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foster pulls his leg out and moves away.
Caceres doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Foster counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Caceres is lucky that one didn't land flush.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caceres misses with a takedown attempt - Foster sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Caceres throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Foster tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Caceres is in Foster's guard.
Foster is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Caceres dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Foster wants to control but Caceres postures up.
Foster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caceres. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Caceres has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Foster tries to improve his position but Caceres has taken his back! Caceres has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Foster tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Caceres pushes Foster away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
