The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery looks to score with a jab to the body but Grov is just out of range.

Montgomery's coach down at Copes was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Montgomery's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grov catches Montgomery with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Montgomery enables Grov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Montgomery manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Montgomery wants to sweep here but Grov controlling him for the moment.

Grov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Montgomery is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Grov yanks on the arm and Montgomery is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Grov.
