The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makhachev lands a head kick. Huang smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Makhachev connects with a good right hand that stumbles Huang. Huang circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Huang avoids the head kick by Makhachev.
Huang on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Huang closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Huang lands a decent elbow from side control.
Huang is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Makhachev looks calm but he's in trouble here. Huang gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Makhachev is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Huang lets go of the hold and Makhachev can pop his arm back in it's socket.
