Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miko Wrevino (ranked 4123 p4p, 3642 weight class) and Peter Parkinson (ranked 448 p4p, 404 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Peter Parkinson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miko Wrevino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Parkinson! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parkinson throws an overhand right that lands on Wrevino's shoulder, as Wrevino tries to avoid the shot. Wrevino throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Parkinson's waist but Parkinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wrevino off to one side. Parkinson has closed the distance and engaged Wrevino in a clinch.
Parkinson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short right from Parkinson. Wrevino is looking to take this one to the mat. Parkinson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wrevinos head. Parkinson lands a body shot. Parkinson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Parkinson lands an uppercut. A hook to the body from Parkinson.
Wrevino is breathing heavily. Parkinson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wrevino jumps guard but Parkinson stands there with Wrevino around his waist. Wrevino gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miko Wrevino. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wrevino jumps guard.
Parkinson passes into half guard. Parkinson controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Parkinson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Parkinson moves into full mount! Wrevino won't be happy about that! Parkinson controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Parkinson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parkinson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Yet more stalling tactics from Parkinson. Wrevino wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Wrevino tries to hold on but Parkinson pushes him away. Parkinson controlling from the full mount. More stalling from Parkinson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrevino is wriggling around trying to escape.
Parkinson controlling his opponent. Wrevino looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Wrevino working to try and regain half guard.
Parkinson content just to control the position here. Wrevino wants to hold on but Parkinson pushes him away. Wrevino tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parkinson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wrevino really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Parkinson controlling the pace for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Parkinson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Parkinson avoids the head kick by Wrevino.
Wrevino looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wrevino has closed the distance and engaged Parkinson in a clinch.
Parkinson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wrevino has Parkinson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parkinson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Nice body punch from Parkinson - that landed with a thud.

Parkinson scores with a shot to the side of Wrevino's head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Parkinson. Parkinson lands a body shot. Parkinson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Parkinson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Parkinson working some nice short punches in the clinch. A body shot lands from Parkinson.
Parkinson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wrevino backwards. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Parkinson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. This has been an exciting period of action! A short right hand to the side of the head by Parkinson.
It looks like Miko Wrevino has been cut. Parkinson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Wrevino or not. Parkinson lands a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parkinson lands a shoulder strike. Peter Parkinson seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. A quick uppercut on the inside from Parkinson. A short right from Parkinson. Parkinson scores with an uppercut up the middle. Parkinson is working Wrevino over against the cage. Parkinson scores with a hook to the body. Parkinson working some nice short punches in the clinch. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Parkinson in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Parkinson lands an uppercut. Parkinson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wrevino backwards. Parkinson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wrevino backwards.
Wrevino is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Parkinson dips a shoulder and cracks Wrevino with a mighty uppercut! Wrevino falls back against the cage and Parkinson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Wrevino is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Parkinson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
