Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kai Asakura (ranked 2742 p4p, 25447 weight class) and Casey Van Sanders (ranked 171 p4p, 263 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Sanders shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Asakura but Asakura pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Asakura connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Van Sanders covering up! Asakura comes in with a big uppercut and Van Sanders goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
