Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryota Fukado (ranked 2399 p4p, 24819 weight class) and Kaleb Estrada (ranked 238 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kaleb Estrada was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryota Fukado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kaleb Estrada!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estrada swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fukado counters with a shoot takedown. Estrada fights it but they end up in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fukado content to stall in guard here.
Fukado works over Estrada with some ground and pound from guard.
Fukado is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fukado stands and throws Estrada's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fukado has hold of Estrada's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Estrada tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fukado cranks the arm and Estrada screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Estrada, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ryota Fukado!
