Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gini Wijnaldum (ranked 25560 p4p, 4628 weight class) and Kenji Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gini Wijnaldum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura staying out of range there. Nakamura takes the fight into the clinch. Wijnaldum breaks the clinch.
Wijnaldum catches Nakamura with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nakamura closes the distance and clinches. Wijnaldum tries to stall but Nakamura uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Wijnaldum is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nakamura gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Wijnaldum breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wijnaldum throws out the jab. Wijnaldum is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wijnaldum sets himself, and Nakamura steps forward looking for the clinch! Wijnaldum avoids it this time. That's one minute gone in the round. Nice jab there from Wijnaldum. Wijnaldum pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nakamura clinches up with Wijnaldum and pushes him back against the cage. Wijnaldum manages to break the clinch.
Nakamura shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wijnaldum as he avoids it easily. Wijnaldum throws a series of punches but Nakamura avoids them all with ease. Wijnaldum tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nakamura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wijnaldum somewhat. Nakamura swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nakamura's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wijnaldum connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nakamura scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wijnaldum tries to close the distance and clinch but Nakamura swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nakamura ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Wijnaldum throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It seemed like Nakamura was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nakamura uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wijnaldum.

Nakamura is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wijnaldum with a body shot. Gini Wijnaldum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wijnaldum thows a left - swing and a miss! Wijnaldum sets himself, and Nakamura steps forward looking for the clinch! Wijnaldum avoids it this time. A big right from Wijnaldum misses. Wijnaldum misses with a takedown attempt - Nakamura sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gini Wijnaldum. Nakamura throws a counter combo. Nakamura gets in close and instigates a clinch. Nakamura blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Wijnaldum's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wijnaldum misses with a left hand and Nakamura counters with a nice body shot. Wijnaldum throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wijnaldum defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nakamura. Nakamura misses the shot to the body. Wijnaldum scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Wijnaldum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakamura bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wijnaldum tries to clinch but Nakamura moves out of range. Nakamura ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Wijnaldum lands with a hook. Nakamura tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Nakamura throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wijnaldum fails to land with a series of punches.
Nakamura unleashes a big counter combination but Wijnaldum bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Wijnaldum misses with an uppercut
and Nakamura holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wijnaldum pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gini Wijnaldum will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Wijnaldum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nakamura as he jumps to the side. Wijnaldum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nakamura. Wijnaldum throws an off balance right hand
and Nakamura counters with a nice uppercut. Nakamura looks for the body kick but Wijnaldum saw that one coming. Wijnaldum tries to clinch but Nakamura moves out of range. Wijnaldum tries to clinch there but Nakamura circles away.

Wijnaldum is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wijnaldum is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Nakamura dives into side control.
Nakamura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nakamura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Nakamura grinds an elbow into Wijnaldum's temple. Wijnaldum struggling a bit here. Wijnaldum trying to control but Nakamura flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wijnaldum trying to get back to his feet but Nakamura is in full control for now. Nakamura scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Nakamura trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Wijnaldum doesn't escape. Nakamura avoiding Wijnaldum 's attempts to control his hands. Nakamura is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Wijnaldum taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Nakamura.
