Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nolan Hayes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wayne Martin!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Darius Henderson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Martin. No joy for Hayes on that attempt.
Martin leaves Hayes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Martin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Hayes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Martin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Martin shoots in for a double leg but Hayes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
As Martin backs away, Hayes returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Hayes stuffs the takedown attempt from Martin. Martin gets slowly back to his feet.

Hayes shoots in looking for a takedown but Martin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hayes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
