Rivers has chosen Gojira - Sphinx as his entrance music. Chad Hammer had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Rivers!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers tries a head kick but it misses.
Hammer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rivers was well out of range. Poor timing from Hammer.
A little jabbing left from Rivers on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hammer throws an overhand right that lands on Rivers's shoulder, as Rivers tries to avoid the shot.
Hammer falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rivers counters with a nice uppercut.
Hammer scores with a shot to the body.
Hammer connects with the punch.
It looks like Sean Rivers has been cut.
Hammer cracks Rivers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Rivers bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rivers! But no joy.
Hammer throws a right hand that misses
and Rivers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hammer thinking.
Rivers ducks under a wild hook from Hammer.
A little jabbing left from Rivers on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hammer throws a lazy right hand but Rivers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It seemed like Rivers was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hammer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hammer throws a poor cross that misses
and Hammer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammer looks to land a left hand but Rivers moved out of range nicely.
A countering left hand to the body from Rivers misses.
Hammer misses with a body punch
and Rivers counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hammer throws a lazy uppercut
letting Rivers counter with a right hand.
Hammer throws a big shot that misses.
Rivers lands a slapping body shot.
Rivers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hammer.
Hammer throws out a loose jab but Rivers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hammer swings widly with a right hand
and Rivers counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hammer throws an off balance right hand
and Rivers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rivers moves out of range as Hammer strikes.
Hammer throws a jab but it's blocked by Rivers.
Hammer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rivers cracks Hammer with a good jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rivers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hammer is rocked!
Rivers uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hammer.
Rivers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hammer.
Rivers swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hammer misses with a few strikes there.
Rivers throws a big counter head kick but Hammer avoids it with no problem.
Rivers tries a head kick but it misses.
Hammer just misses with a punch to the body.
Hammer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rivers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hammer misses with a hook to the body
and Rivers counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh Hammer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rivers might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A jab from Hammer does it's job there.
Hammer walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Rivers swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

After winning the bout, Sean Rivers thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
