Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23062 p4p, 23171 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 51 - 64 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 54 - 67 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Amiga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amiga wants it to stay on the feet. Salvacion misses with a takedown and Amiga counters with a nice body kick.
Salvacion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Amiga was covering up waiting for the punch and Salvacion finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Salvacion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Salvacion manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Amiga on his heels. He'll look to pass Amiga's guard now, I'm sure. Amiga is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to his closed guard and prevents Salvacion from doing any damage or advancing position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion controls from within his opponent's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard John Salvacion dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Amiga but Amiga pushes him off and we're back to square one. Amiga throws a looping overhand right but Salvacion ducks down to avoid it. Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well. Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Amiga counters with a solid body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Amiga or perhaps it was just good defense by Salvacion, which made it look bad. Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Amiga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Salvacion defends it nicely. Salvacion is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Agbay Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Salvacion decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Amiga has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Salvacion is on him like a limpet, forcing Amiga back against the cage. Salvacion has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Amiga avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Salvacion lands a takedown into guard.
Salvacion looking to pass the guard. Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head. It's preventing any offense from Salvacion, at least for the moment. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Amiga is looking to sweep but instead, Salvacion has passed into half guard.

It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Salvacion jumps into side control! Salvacion has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion trying to control the position but Amiga is working away. Amiga is looking to reverse the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Richard John Salvacion will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga is trying to control Salvacion's posture but Salvacion avoids it.

Salvacion shoots for a double leg takedown but Amiga sprawls well. He's pushed Salvacion's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Amiga fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Salvacion throws a big counter head kick but Amiga avoids it with no problem. Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Amiga swivels and escapes. Agbay Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.

"I don't think so" says Salvacion as he avoids it easily. Salvacion unleashes a big counter combination but Amiga bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Salvacion dives in for a single leg takedown but Amiga sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Amiga jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Salvacion misses with a takedown and Amiga counters with a body kick that stops Salvacion in his tracks momentarily. Salvacion takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Amiga counters with a flying knee. Nice. Amiga stuffs the takedown. Agbay Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Richard John Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up with Amiga, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes Amiga against the cage but Amiga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Amiga tried to counter with a leg kick but Salvacion avoided it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga closes this distance looking for a takedown but Salvacion circles away. Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Richard John Salvacion. I've got Salvacion winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
