Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23345 p4p, 23104 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gakus Amiga is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 48 - 67 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 85 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion drives through with a takedown into Amiga's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to his closed guard and prevents Salvacion from doing any damage or advancing position. Salvacion is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvacion is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is controlling Salvacion's posture. Salvacion sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salvacion shoots in but Amiga avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Amiga fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion avoids it really well and circles away. Amiga shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Salvacion looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Amiga prevents Salvacion from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Salvacion has control of Amiga's left arm, preventing Amiga from doing any damage. Salvacion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Amiga controls the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Clifford Val Salvacion will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Amiga swivels and escapes. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Salvacion not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amiga keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Salvacion is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Amiga avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Salvacion. Amiga is looking to control Salvacion's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Amiga avoid being mounted? Salvacion has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Salvacion not doing much here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Salvacion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion controls the position. Amiga is trying to control Salvacion's posture but Salvacion avoids it. Amiga being controlled for a moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. You can see the frustration on Amiga's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salvacion. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. Amiga closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Salvacion quickly recovers to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Clifford Val Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Salvacion stuffs the takedown attempt from Amiga. Amiga gets slowly back to his feet. Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well. Amiga scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion is not content to let Amiga control the position. Salvacion tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion regains half guard. Amiga is thwarting Salvacion's attempts to control the position. Salvacion controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Amiga seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Amiga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Amiga looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Amiga tries for a takedown but Salvacion sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side. Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gakus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Amiga tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Salvacion defends well and Amiga ends up having to push Salvacion into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Salvacion has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Amiga is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Amiga wants a takedown but no success here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Amiga is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Salvacion pulls him back up using the underhooks. Salvacion is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Amiga is defending well. Amiga stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Gakus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Clifford Val Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Salvacion is defending well against a takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Clifford Val Salvacion. Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
