Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Way Nada (ranked 23304 p4p, 23101 weight class) and Kugus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kugus Amiga has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Way Nada's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 60 - 61 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 61 - 54 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nada throws the kick towards the body but Amiga avoids it. Nada shoots in and gets a takedown into Amiga's guard. Amiga has Nada pulled in close to control his posture. Amiga's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada controls from within his opponent's guard. Amiga looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Amiga is looking for a triangle but Nada pushes his legs off easily.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Nada content to stall in guard here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Amiga scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nada wants to improve his position but Amiga is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga not doing much here.
Nada preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Amiga is thwarting Nada's attempts to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nada closes the distance and clinches up with Amiga, looking for a takedown. Nada pushes Amiga against the cage but Amiga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Amiga misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nada throws a quick counter kick to the body but Amiga avoids it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nada throws a half hearted mid kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Amiga darts in looking for a takedown but Nada gets double underhooks and turns Amiga into the cage. Nada throws a half hearted mid kick. Amiga fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nada.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amiga can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nada wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Amiga takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Nada controlling the position from side mount. Nada is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Amiga can do to turn this around? Amiga throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Amiga is letting Nada control him for a moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Amiga follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Amiga looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nada is fending him off so far but Amiga persists. Nope, Nada circles away and we're back to standing. Way Nada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kugus Amiga. Nada misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Amiga replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Nada blocks it well. Nada goes for a double leg but Amiga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amiga continues to drive forward. Amiga is trying to counter with his kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nada is trying to drag Amiga to the mat but Amiga just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Nada is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Amiga is defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga breaks from the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Way Nada will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Nada has control of Amiga's left arm, preventing Amiga from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. More stalling from Amiga. Nada wants to sweep here but Amiga controlling him for the moment. Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Amiga shoots in for a double leg but Nada sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. It appears Nada was looking to counter with a kick there. Amiga tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nada sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Amiga somewhat. Nada thinks about countering with a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nada tries to avoid it but Amiga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nada to the ground. Nada escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Way Nada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kugus Amiga. Amiga throws a wild body kick that Nada sees coming a mile off. Nada jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Amiga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amiga wants it to stay on the feet. And Amiga responds with a good body kick, but Nada manages to step out the way in time. Nada dives in and grabs Amiga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes down on Nada's head and hops out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Amiga fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nada shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amiga sprawls well. Amiga wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nada gets slowly back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Kugus Amiga comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nada has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
