Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Liam Dempsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Zime!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Topper Green and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zime shoots in for a double leg but Dempsey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A jab lands there for Dempsey.
Dempsey lands a leg kick that knocks Zime off balance momentarily.
Zime darts in looking for a takedown but Dempsey gets double underhooks and turns Zime into the cage.
An inside leg kick lands from Dempsey.
Dempsey gets tackled into the cage by Zime. Zime maintains the clinch.
Dempsey lands an uppercut.
Dempsey lands a right hand.
Dempsey manages to break the clinch.
Zime looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dempsey keeps the fight on the outside.
Zime tries to close the distance and clinch but Dempsey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice uppercut there from Dempsey.
Dempsey connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No luck for Zime with that takedown attempt.
Dempsey looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Liam Dempsey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Zime.
Zime is looking to clinch.
Dempsey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zime.
Dempsey drops Zime with a big left hand! Zime is injured, injured bad! Dempsey jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
