Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diziz Sparta Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rey Shah!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shah closes the distance and clinches.
Shah misses with a hook from the clinch.
Sparta Jr displaying some good clinch control by pressing Shah up against the cage.
Sparta Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shah clinches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Shah.
Shah misses with a punch on the inside.
Shah misses with a short punch on the inside.
Sparta Jr turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Sparta Jr misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sparta Jr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shah is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sparta Jr working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shah tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sparta Jr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Shah has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sparta Jr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ground and pound from Sparta Jr seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Sparta Jr is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Shah looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sparta Jr gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Shah is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sparta Jr lets go of the hold and Shah can pop his arm back in it's socket.
