Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konstantine Kobalia (ranked 3757 p4p, 25106 weight class) and Clark Zapata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zapata has chosen Alab ng Puso as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Konstantine Kobalia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clark Zapata! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zapata gets in close and instigates a clinch. Zapata stops a takedown attempt from Kobalia.
Kobalia has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zapata clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Kobalia has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Zapata has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Zapata is trying to get back to his feet but Kobalia has full control of the position and if anything, Zapata has just worked his way into a worse spot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kobalia lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Zapata hold on?!
Zapata is trying to stand back up. Kobalia is punishing Zapata with strikes - can he finish him?! Kobalia has Zapata flattened out and is raining down punches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zapata wants to get back to his feet. Kobalia lands with a hammerfist to the side of Zapata's head. Kobalia lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kobalia punches Zapata on the ear. Kobalia lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Kobalia has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Zapata. Zapata is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Kobalia is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Kobalia gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Kobalia gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Kobalia apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Kobalia looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kobalia winds up and cracks Zapata with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Zapata on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Zapata taking some punishment here, with Kobalia in his half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zapata manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kobalia keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Kobalia displaying some good clinch control by pressing Zapata up against the cage. Zapata on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kobalia has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Zapata is trying to keep an underhook but Kobalia manages to get the takedown into half guard. Kobalia slips a nice elbow through Zapata's hands, connecting with Zapata's forehead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kobalia stops Zapata from getting back to his feet.

Kobalia lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Zapata looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kobalia is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Zapata on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Zapata won't allow Kobalia to pass to mount. Kobalia prevents Zapata from standing back up.
Kobalia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zapata doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kobalia. Kobalia trying to pass the guard but Zapata defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zapata pushes Kobalia off looking to stand but Kobalia dives back in and keeps control.
Kobalia lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Kobalia is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zapata defends it well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kobalia lands a nice short elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zapata taking some punishment here, with Kobalia in his half guard. Kobalia winds up and cracks Zapata with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kobalia is looking to advance position but Zapata won't allow it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kobalia lands a nice short elbow. Kobalia is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Zapata! Kobalia is landing with some decent strikes but Zapata is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kobalia dominating with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Kobalia.
Zapata is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kobalia lands a big elbow. Zapata is still in real trouble! Can Kobalia finish him? Kobalia postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Zapata in real trouble here! The ref calls for Zapata to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Konstantine Kobalia! Konstantine Kobalia decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. The defeated Clark Zapata had this to say: 'I will learn from this.'.
