The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vailima lands a body shot.
Mcdonald takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Vailima digs a good body shot into Mcdonald's ribs.

Vailima jabs at Mcdonald's body.
Mcdonald tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vailima swivels and escapes.
Mcdonald shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vailima is trying to defend but Mcdonald finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mcdonald takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Vailima has left one of his arms exposed and Mcdonald doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Vailima screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
