Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuriy Volkov (ranked 3824 p4p, 4957 weight class) and Jeramiah Brewer (ranked 294 p4p, 0 weight class). Brewer has chosen Take me home, Country road as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jeramiah Brewer will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuriy Volkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeramiah Brewer!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Volkov at a distance.
Brewer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brewer pulls guard.
Brewer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Volkov is in close to Brewer's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Brewer wants to get back to his feet but Volkov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Volkov preventing the sweep.
Volkov postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Volkov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brewer is looking to stand up but Volkov isn't so interested in that idea.
Volkov stays in close to Brewer's body and controls the position.

Volkov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Brewer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Volkov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Volkov is looking to work some ground and pound but Brewer has wrist control.
Brewer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Brewer has momentary wrist control but Volkov slips an elbow through the middle.
Brewer is rocked!

Brewer is still in real trouble! Can Volkov finish him?
Volkov pushes down on Brewer's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Volkov scores with a big shot! Brewer's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Brewer! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuriy Volkov!
