Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Davion Mccall (ranked 3687 p4p, 25593 weight class) and Alexander Jefferson (ranked 389 p4p, 529 weight class). Alexander Jefferson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davion Mccall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander Jefferson! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mccall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jefferson. Jefferson tries to clinch but Mccall moves away and Mccall counters with a shoot takedown. Jefferson fights it but they end up in guard. Mccall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jefferson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mccall stands and steps away. Jefferson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jefferson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mccall is keeping busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice left hand lands by Jefferson.
Mccall has had enough of the clinch but Jefferson keeps him there for the moment. Mccall tries to score a body lock takedown but Jefferson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jefferson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jefferson clinches with his opponent.
Come on Jefferson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Jefferson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mccall uses from the top position. Mccall won't allow Jefferson to sweep him here. Mccall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jefferson working a defensive guard here.
Jefferson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mccall haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jefferson looking for a guillotine here but Mccall defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mccall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jefferson clinches up with Mccall and pushes him back against the cage. Mccall is working for takedown but Jefferson is calmly controlling the position for now. Mccall is stalling here.
Jefferson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mccall up against the cage.

Jefferson pulls guard. Jefferson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mccall engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jefferson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mccall advances to half guard. Mccall looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jefferson trying to control from the bottom.
Mccall gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Jefferson darts in looking for a takedown but Mccall gets double underhooks and turns Jefferson into the cage. Mccall changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jefferson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jefferson is looking to get back to his feet here but Mccall is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jefferson's back. Mccall is breathing heavily. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jefferson is trying to get back to his feet but Mccall has full control of the position and if anything, Jefferson has just worked his way into a worse spot. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alexander Jefferson will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Mccall throws a right and a left that both miss. Mccall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jefferson to the mat! Jefferson manages to get full guard. Davion Mccall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jefferson trying to keep a closed guard but Mccall is proving a slippery customer.
Mccall wants to control from the top but Jefferson keeps moving. Jefferson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Mccall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jefferson controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jefferson trying to control but Mccall is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mccall seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Jefferson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mccall, up you get! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mccall. Jefferson tries to clinch up but Mccall circles away and keeps his distance. Jefferson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mccall avoids it really well and circles away. Mccall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jefferson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jefferson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mccall at a distance.
Jefferson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mccall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jefferson moves in looking to clinch but Mccall pushes him off. Mccall is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jefferson. Jefferson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mccall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Davion Mccall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Jefferson. Jefferson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Jefferson is looking to advance position but Mccall has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jefferson tries to hold on but Mccall postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccall is working for a guillotine from mount but Jefferson frees his head quite easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mccall cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mccall lands a heavy elbow. Mccall lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Mccall stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jefferson works Mccall's body with a nice hook. Jefferson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mccall is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Jefferson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Mccall gets back to full guard.
Mccall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jefferson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jefferson throws a big right hand that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Davion Mccall dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Mccall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jefferson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jefferson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Davion Mccall has been cut. Mccall darts in looking for a takedown but Jefferson gets double underhooks and turns Mccall into the cage. Mccall has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jefferson uses from the top position. Mccall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jefferson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mccall has managed to get both his arms back between Jefferson's legs - danger averted. Jefferson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Mccall stops Jefferson from standing up. Jefferson controls Mccall momentarily but Mccall frees himself. Jefferson wants to control but Mccall passes easily into half guard.
Mccall is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Mccall working the head and body with strikes. Jefferson tries to roll over but Mccall keeps him under control. Mccall is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jefferson works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccall gets to his feet. Jefferson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jefferson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mccall as he jumps to the side. Mccall throws a head kick that misses. Jefferson is looking for the big counter here. Jefferson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jefferson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mccall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jefferson goes for a double leg but Mccall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mccall continues to drive forward. Davion Mccall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Jefferson. Mccall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jefferson.
Jefferson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mccall's waist but Mccall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jefferson off to one side. Jefferson tries to sprawl but Mccall drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mccall with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Jefferson is in trouble now - Mccall has advanced to mount! Mccall tries to control but Jefferson wriggling away. Jefferson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mccall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jefferson swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mccall goes for an armbar but Jefferson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jefferson.
And that's the end of the fight! Davion Mccall showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mccall has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
