Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Menacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Volkov!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Volkov misses
and Menacho counters with a straight right hand.
Volkov throws a head kick that misses.
Menacho swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Menacho scores with a shot to the body.
Volkov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Volkov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Menacho lands a big uppercut and Volkov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Volkov looks OK. Menacho waves Volkov back to his feet!
Volkov is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Volkov gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Menacho points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Volkov wakes up just in time to hear Menacho thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
