Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jimmy Ray Watcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wulong Li!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watcher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Li pinned against the cage. Li gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Watcher bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Li gets back to half guard.
Li tries to roll over but Watcher keeps him under control.
Li really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Watcher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li works his way to full guard. Good work.
Li is pulling down on Watcher's head. It's preventing any offense from Watcher, at least for the moment.
Li tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Watcher slips nicely into half guard.
Li is controlling Watcher's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Watcher controlling the action here.
Li is pressing down on Watcher's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Li wants to sweep here but Watcher controlling him for the moment.
Watcher tries to free his leg and advance position but Li is retaining full guard.
Li looking to hit a scissor sweep but Watcher is one step ahead there.
Watcher is fighting to break Li's control of his arms but Li is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Watcher trying to control the position from guard on top but Li is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Li is on top in guard.
Li lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Li avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Li sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Watcher looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Li scoring with punches to the head and body.
Li working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Watcher's head.
Li lands a couple of digs.
Li stands up over Watcher, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Li postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Watcher covers up, he's hurt! Li keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Li and the ref steps in to end the fight! Li can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wulong Li!
