Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerry Mikes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Folkmar Stufsson!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikes tries for a takedown but Stufsson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Stufsson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Mikes dives in and grabs Stufsson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stufsson pushes down on Mikes's head and hops out.
Stufsson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Mikes with a body shot.
Stufsson scores with a punch to the head.
Stufsson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerry Mikes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mikes shoots in but Stufsson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stufsson lands a slapping body shot.
Stufsson scores with a hook to the body. Mikes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Stufsson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Mikes looks for a takedown but Stufsson sprawls well.
Stufsson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Mikes is breathing heavily.
Donk. Stufsson catches Mikes right on the button with a cross.
Mikes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stufsson pinned against the cage. Stufsson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stufsson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mikes attempts a counter takedown but Stufsson avoids it well and moves away.
Mikes ducks right into an uppercut from Stufsson.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stufsson lands a glancing blow to the side of Mikes's head.
Mikes is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mikes on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Oh Mikes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stufsson closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Mikes out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
