Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bjornsson (ranked 409 p4p, 5161 weight class) and Fedor Mazepin (ranked 52 p4p, 457 weight class). Mazepin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: boom. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Eddie Bjornsson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 39 - 64 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mazepin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bjornsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut. Mazepin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Bjornsson drives through and clinches with Mazepin against the cage.
Bjornsson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Mazepin wants to sweep but no luck. Bjornsson controls from within his opponent's guard. Bjornsson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bjornsson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bjornsson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bjornsson lands a couple of digs. Bjornsson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mazepin taking some punishment here, with Bjornsson in his half guard. Bjornsson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Mazepin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bjornsson pulls his head out easily. Mazepin looks winded! Bjornsson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bjornsson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mazepin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That has opened up Fedor Mazepin's cut even more. Bjornsson is nestled in close to Mazepin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fedor Mazepin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fedor Mazepin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Eddie Bjornsson! Eddie Bjornsson retains his heavyweight title! During a confident post fight interview, Eddie Bjornsson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. The defeated Fedor Mazepin had this to say: 'until next time'.
