Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandr Zuev (ranked 1199 p4p, 2833 weight class) and Juan David Franco (ranked 154 p4p, 333 weight class). Franco has chosen Bullet For My Valentine- Tears Don't Fall as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aleksandr Zuev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan David Franco! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franco scores with a one two! Zuev had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
 It looks like Aleksandr Zuev has been cut. Zuev fails to land the takedown. Franco fakes the leg kick and cracks Zuev in the body. A decent looking cross lands there for Franco. Franco goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Zuev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Franco as he jumps to the side.
Franco lands a big head kick that sends Zuev tumbling to the mat! Franco takes a step backwards and waves Zuev back to his feet - he wants the finish!
 Zuev is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Franco throws a head kick that misses. Oh Zuev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Zuev. Zuev seems to have got his legs back now. Zuev taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Zuev avoids the head kick by Franco.
Franco misses with the combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zuev. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksandr Zuev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Franco lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Franco.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Franco rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zuev moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Franco slaps away a takedown attempt from Zuev, before circling back to the center of the mat. Zuev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Franco defends it nicely. Zuev slips under a jab. Zuev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Franco throws a right and a left that Zuev avoids nicely. Juan David Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zuev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Franco can do anything to dispel that myth. Zuev is looking to advance position but Franco won't allow it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Zuev trying to pass the guard but Franco defending well. Zuev is figuring out what he wants to do next. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Juan David Franco dominated that round. The cut man is working on Aleksandr Zuev's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Zuev dives in and grabs Franco's left leg, looking for a takedown. Franco pushes down on Zuev's head and hops out. Zuev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Franco counters with a straight that turns Zuev's legs to rubber! Franco pushes forward with more strikes and Zuev goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
