Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Shultz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcos Pencho! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pencho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shultz circles away. Shultz tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Pencho manages to circle out of the way. Pencho shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Shultz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Shultz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Shultz has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Pencho is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Shultz pulls guard successfully.
Pencho is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Shultz has control of Pencho's left arm, preventing Pencho from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shultz continues to stall.

Brian Shultz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Pencho. Pencho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pencho lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shultz at a distance.

Pencho is looking to regain half guard here but Shultz keeps moving and retains side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Shultz decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pencho to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pencho lands a slapping body shot.

Shultz content to control rather than advance. Shultz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pencho sees it coming and defends easily. Shultz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pencho can do to turn this around?

And that's the end of the fight! Brian Shultz showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shultz, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
