Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliev avoids the body shot from Gage.
Aliev half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Gage misses with a wild combination.

and Aliev counters with a shoot takedown. Gage fights it but they end up in guard.
Aliev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Aliev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Aliev is pushing down on Gage's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gage is fighting to maintain full guard but Aliev has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aliev looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gage looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Aliev is trying for a kimura here. Gage looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Aliev wins by kimura!
