Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bubba KillsInWater! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stuart Redman! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from KillsInWater.
KillsInWater chopping away at his opponent's legs.
KillsInWater bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Redman tries to clinch up. KillsInWater throws an overhand right that lands on Redman's shoulder, as Redman tries to avoid the shot. KillsInWater dips down and scores with a jab to the body. KillsInWater misses with an uppercut. KillsInWater takes a swing at Redman's ribcage but misses. KillsInWater throws a jab but it's blocked by Redman. Redman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from KillsInWater. Redman tries to clinch but KillsInWater is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. KillsInWater tests Redman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Stuart Redman has been cut. Ouch! a nice leg kick from KillsInWater, right into the meat.
Redman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
KillsInWater throws a big shot that misses. Redman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Redman wants to pass to mount but KillsInWater is defending the position. KillsInWater wants to get back to full guard. Redman is trying to control. KillsInWater wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Redman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Redman wants to work for an arm triangle but KillsInWater is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
KillsInWater is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Redman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Redman's back! Redman breaks KillsInWater's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
KillsInWater will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. KillsInWater keeping moving, preventing Redman from controlling successfully. Redman being controlled here momentarily. KillsInWater looking to hit a scissor sweep but Redman is one step ahead there. Redman tries to free his leg and advance position but KillsInWater is retaining full guard. Redman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Redman looking to sit in guard and control but KillsInWater gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Redman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. KillsInWater is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Redman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take KillsInWater's back instead. KillsInWater breaks Redman's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Redman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. KillsInWater doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. KillsInWater manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Redman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bubba KillsInWater dominated that round. The cut man is working on Stuart Redman's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and KillsInWater counters with a one-two to the body. KillsInWater throws a sloppy body shot
and Redman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. KillsInWater will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
KillsInWater misses with a looping left. KillsInWater looks to land a left hand but Redman moved out of range nicely. KillsInWater misses with a wild body shot. Redman misses the body punch and KillsInWater counters with a right hand to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Redman misses with a body shot
and KillsInWater counters with a series of strikes. Redman will be more careful next time no doubt.

KillsInWater keeps the fight on the outside. KillsInWater throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Redman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bubba KillsInWater is winning the standup battle so far. Redman is breathing heavily. Redman has taken the fight to the clinch.
KillsInWater is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Redman lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. KillsInWater breaks from the clinch.
Redman tries to clinch there but KillsInWater circles away.
Redman pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bubba KillsInWater is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. KillsInWater misses with a body shot.
Redman swings for the body but KillsInWater moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. KillsInWater throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. KillsInWater lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! KillsInWater thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice defenses there by Redman. Redman thows a body shot but no joy. Bubba KillsInWater seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. KillsInWater takes a swing at Redman's ribcage but misses. KillsInWater thows a body shot but no joy. Redman throws a body punch but KillsInWater moves out of range. KillsInWater moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. KillsInWater lands with a shot to the body. KillsInWater looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. KillsInWater throws a hook but Redman blocks it. Redman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but KillsInWater moves away. KillsInWater lands with a cross. KillsInWater throws a hook but Redman avoids it easily. KillsInWater throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Redman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Redman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's four minutes gone in the round. KillsInWater listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That has opened up Stuart Redman's cut even more. Redman fails in his attempt to clinch. Redman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from KillsInWater misses the target. KillsInWater dodges the punch combination from Redman.
KillsInWater misses with a few strikes there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. KillsInWater will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
KillsInWater scores with a jab. Redman acknowledges it with a nod of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

KillsInWater connects with a right hand. Redman shakes it off. Redman missing with a left hand there. KillsInWater was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Redman misses the body punch and KillsInWater counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Redman misses with a body shot.

KillsInWater throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Redman sees it coming and avoids it easily. KillsInWater fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Redman checks it well. Some wild striking there from KillsInWater.
That's one minute gone in the round. Redman misses with a double jab
and KillsInWater counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Redman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A jab from KillsInWater misses. KillsInWater pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Redman misses the shot to the body. KillsInWater lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
KillsInWater uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. KillsInWater looks to score with a jab to the body but Redman is just out of range. KillsInWater jabs Redman right on the nose. Redman blinks but takes it well.
The cut above Stuart Redman's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! KillsInWater connects with a nice looking jab.
KillsInWater throws out a loose jab but Redman uses good head movement to avoid it. KillsInWater waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Redman. KillsInWater misses the shot to the body. KillsInWater lands with an overhand left. KillsInWater ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A swing and a miss from Redman. Redman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and KillsInWater counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. KillsInWater avoids the body shot from Redman.
Redman closes the distance and clinches up with KillsInWater, looking for a takedown. Redman pushes KillsInWater against the cage but KillsInWater circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Redman on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Stuart Redman's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. KillsInWater lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Stuart Redman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bubba KillsInWater! Bubba KillsInWater retains his heavyweight title!
