Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Mondale (ranked 3621 p4p, 3352 weight class) and Zurab Kvaratskhelia (ranked 410 p4p, 382 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mondale might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bad to the Bone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zurab Kvaratskhelia!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvaratskhelia fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kvaratskhelia shoots in looking for a takedown but Mondale manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kvaratskhelia's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mondale drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kvaratskhelia is trying to control Mondale's posture but Mondale avoids it.
Mondale decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kvaratskhelia to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kvaratskhelia or perhaps it was just good defense by Mondale, which made it look bad.

Mondale was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mondale fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kvaratskhelia, pushing him back against the cage.
Mondale has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kvaratskhelia uses from the top position.

Zurab Kvaratskhelia was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
