Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (ranked 3247 p4p, 3605 weight class) and Jin Li (ranked 334 p4p, 369 weight class). Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jin Li! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li stuffs the takedown. Li tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Kvaratskhelia has his takedown stuffed so Li counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kvaratskhelia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Li's guard. Li pulls Kvaratskhelia in close to his closed guard and prevents Kvaratskhelia from doing any damage or advancing position. Li looking for a sweep. Not yet Li, not yet. Kvaratskhelia landing with the ground and pound. Li has Kvaratskhelia pulled in close to control his posture. Kvaratskhelia trying to control the position from guard on top but Li is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Li is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li has control of Kvaratskhelia's left arm, preventing Kvaratskhelia from doing any damage. Kvaratskhelia trying to control but Li is working from the bottom. Li is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kvaratskhelia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Li drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kvaratskhelia defends it well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Li shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kvaratskhelia manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Li trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kvaratskhelia is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kvaratskhelia landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Kvaratskhelia looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kvaratskhelia lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Li is rocked! Kvaratskhelia slips a nice elbow through Li's hands, connecting with Li's forehead. Li is still in real trouble! Can Kvaratskhelia finish him? Kvaratskhelia is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Li is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kvaratskhelia fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Li from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kvaratskhelia! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khvicha Kvaratskhelia! Khvicha Kvaratskhelia decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
