Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Rose (ranked 1426 p4p, 2292 weight class) and Cartier Buffs (ranked 150 p4p, 229 weight class). Harrison Rose could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cartier Buffs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cartier Buffs!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Buffs misses the jab.
Rose throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Buffs scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Rose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buffs.
Rose throws a big counter combination but Buffs scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Buffs looks to throw the jab but Rose is out of range.
Rose looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rose takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rose connects with a right hand. Buffs shakes it off.

Buffs swings wildly with an uppercut but Rose uses good head movement to avoid it.

Buffs jumps guard but Rose turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Rose gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Cartier Buffs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rose leaves Buffs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Buffs has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rose is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Buffs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Buffs wants to control but Rose postures up.

Buffs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rose walks away with a smile on his face. Buffs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Buffs has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rose should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Buffs has tightened it up now! Rose should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
