Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken FrownFelter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dante Mercado! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! FrownFelter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mercado on his heels. He'll look to pass Mercado's guard now, I'm sure. FrownFelter is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mercado wants to sweep here but FrownFelter controlling him for the moment. FrownFelter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. FrownFelter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mercado is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. FrownFelter closes the distance and clinches up with Mercado, looking for a takedown. FrownFelter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mercado sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten FrownFelter somewhat. FrownFelter darts in looking for a takedown but Mercado gets double underhooks and turns FrownFelter into the cage. We've been informed that Mercado has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. FrownFelter tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ken FrownFelter will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
