Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sadulayev jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dayne tries to counter by closing the distance.
Sadulayev lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dayne at a distance.

Sadulayev throws a hook to the side of Dayne's head but Dayne sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dayne throws a big counter head kick but Sadulayev avoids it with no problem.

The fighters circle momentarily. Sadulayev darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sadulayev. Dayne does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sadulayev is not content to let Dayne control the position.
Dayne is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dayne is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Sadulayev reverses the position - he's now on top in Dayne's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dayne is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sadulayev defends well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dayne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sadulayev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Akhmad Sadulayev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
