Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Cahill (ranked 3420 p4p, 2246 weight class) and Weichung Li (ranked 348 p4p, 243 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Cahill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Weichung Li! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Li there. Cahill looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Li lands with a punch from half guard. Cahill wants to get back to full guard. Cahill is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Li's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Li's back! Li is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Cahill off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Cahill is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Li knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Li for a finish. Cahill has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Li has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cahill is not going to allow Li to sit and survive in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cahill tries to keep control of the position but Li is staying busy. Li is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Cahill gets his hands free as Li looks to control. Li is keeping busy.
Li tries to roll but Cahill sticks to his back.
Li controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.
Li trying to control but not successfully. Cahill trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Li just trying to survive but Cahill is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cahill looking to break Li's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Li remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Cahill will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Li tries to escape but Cahill has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Li really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cahill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cahill is cranking Li's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Li! He's tightened the choke and Li is tapping out!
